The signs on the walls identifying people who grunt or drop weights as "lunks" is just offensive. I'm glad PF came up on here because I've been wanting to discuss some of their methods.įirst of all, I don't think insulting or making generalizations about one group of people is a good method for motivating other people. As soon as they see your not one of 'those' they will start to warm up to you. some bigger ass hats than others then just as quickly as they appeared they are gone again and it's just them again. I finally called a local neighborhood gym, and fortunately the guy at the desk lied when I asked if it was a 'bodybuilder' gym. TOTALLY Second this! I was afraid of the "lunks" and used that as an excuse not to join any gym.
